AdLotto Wins 2011 LAUNCH Competition

Michael Hwang and Ryan Hermanson both current a IT - Network Systems students have won the 2011 LAUNCH business plan competition for their business AdLotto. The LAUNCH business plan competition is designed to encourage current SAIT students and first year alumni who aspire to build a technology, science or knowledge-based business in the Calgary area.
Michael and Ryan were awarded their LAUNCH prize in front of 70 family members, sponsors, dignitaries and SAIT representatives on June 23 in Macdonald Hall.
AdLotto provides a digital alternative to standard door step flyers which will reduce waste and eliminate unwanted junk mail. Advertise have the ability to target their ads both demographically and geographically, and only pay for those ads read by a consumer. Consumers reading ads earn credits which can be redeemed for cash and are also entered into a lottery for a chance to win larger prizes.
