LAUNCH is a business plan competition designed to assist SAIT students and alumni in building innovative new companies in the Calgary Region. SAIT alumnus who graduated in 2008/09 and current students who will graduate in 2009/10 from a SAIT certificate, diploma, degree or apprenticeship program are eligible to participate and apply for up to $70,000 in support to launch their careers as budding entrepreneurs!

All LAUNCH participants will receive invaluable mentorship and support in areas such as finance, marketing, operations, research and development to help convert their innovative ideas and business plans into successful start-up companies.

The LAUNCH seminar series will be held over the year to help students and alumni prepare their business plans and for their careers as entrepreneurs.

All LAUNCH participants will benefit from the extensive mentoring process involved in the program and will have an opportunity to cultivate important business relationships, generate exposure for their business ideas and establish their reputations as aspiring entrepreneurs.
